Schedule of Fees and Expenses

· Discuss client’s needs

· Create a working objective

· Review of all client-held information: 

      · Documents

      · Trees

      · Research already done – professional and otherwise

      · Written histories/journals

      · Family lore/stories

      · Etc.

**All the client-held and known information must be shared to avoid duplication of work and research

· Organize client-given information to begin research

· Discussion of the viability of further research after initial research is complete

· Discussion of any other service the client is interested in

· Up to four (4) hours

· Initial research into the objective

· Create the beginnings of the report

· Determine the viability of continuing research

· Nonrefundable

· Any service hired by billable hour 

· Continued research/work per billable hour

· Written report within billable hours

· List of found documents and certificates

· To be negotiated after the initial four hours of research

· Up to twenty (20) hours of research, report writing

· All additional expenses for documents, etc. under 20 hours

· If research is finished before 20 hours and any additional expenses have been met, the remaining amount will be reimbursed to client or put toward a new project for client

· Ordering certificates/documents to add to or further research objective 

· Any additional paid research sites and/or documents ordered

· Every additional expense to be determined and paid by client

· Travel expenses, only as needed (i.e.: FamilySearch Center)
